Information About Our Act of the Month Feature

Our Act of the Month Feature has grown over the years along with it's reach and value to the indie scene and music fans. We watch bands and solo acts for quite some time from those riding the Indie Music Bus to decide on who gets the nominations. Between the 1st and the 15th of each month, Walter will nominate 8 -10 acts he feels deserves the chance. He will then add website and music links into a private Facebook group for 11 judges to check out the music, websites and interactions on social media for each nominee. On the 16th of each month, Walter will create a poll in the group for the judges to make the final decisions.

The winner will now receive awards like: Many things can happen on the fly as well!

1. A front page spotlight for an entire month on indiemusicbus.com
2. Twitter promotions all month long from our network @IndieMusicBus, @IndieFans, @IndieFollowBack
3. A cover page photo on our Facebook page for the month
4. Butterflies Radio in the form of a Skype interview via @IndieViews Artist Spotlight hosted by Kiva Johns Adkins and a Twitter Tuesday Live radio spin, shout outs on air and Twitter @allindie. Twitter Tuesday Live is now being live simulcasted on 6 radio stations and rebroadcast on KGUP.
5. Revolver Underground mentions and air time via EROCK @RevolverRadio
6. Air time on #inDspotlightRADIO @inDspotlightFM FM Radio interview and an email based interview with H.R. Cole. "inDspotlightRADIO" airs 3 days/wk on 4 different outlets, including Butterflies Radio & KGUP 106.5FM

Artist/Band of the Month Award Package

Every month we have a vote to decide who will be our featured band/artist for the month. How it works is I, Walter Hargrave, will nominate 15 acts who have well produced and performed music. These nominees get listed in a private/closed Facebook group where 5-9 judges then check out your websites, bios and your music and then make their vote. The judges are people in the indie industry like radio station owners/hosts, music promoters/managers, indie label owners, etc.  Below I have listed the awards package.

2. You'll have our Facebook Cover Page
3. One post with contents of your choosing on our Facebook page with $20.00 paid sponsorship by Indie Music Bus™. About 2,000-3,000 extra people will see the post.
4. Promotions on Twitter more often then other bus riders stating your the Artist/Band of the Month.
5. A Butterflies Radio - Twitter Tuesday Live mention and a spin of one of your songs live on the air!
6. Krankit Radio Spotlight Rotation. Your pick of a song will play OFTEN for the month and a bumper to say something like, "And now IMB Artist of the Month"
7. Review of 1 EP/CD of your choosing by Tom Wardman's Reviews
8. An email based interview at your leisure and time frame, published and promoted often.
