Artist/Band of the Month Award Package

Every month we have a vote to decide who will be our featured band/artist for the month. How it works is I, Walter Hargrave, will nominate 15 acts who have well produced and performed music. These nominees get listed in a private/closed Facebook group where 5-9 judges then check out your websites, bios and your music and then make their vote. The judges are people in the indie industry like radio station owners/hosts, music promoters/managers, indie label owners, etc.  Below I have listed the awards package.

1. Front page spot on indiemusicbus.com for the month
2. You'll have our Facebook Cover Page
3. One post with contents of your choosing on our Facebook page with $20.00 paid sponsorship by Indie Music Bus™. About 2,000-3,000 extra people will see the post.
4. Promotions on Twitter more often then other bus riders stating your the Artist/Band of the Month.
5. A Butterflies Radio - Twitter Tuesday Live mention and a spin of one of your songs live on the air!
6. Krankit Radio Spotlight Rotation. Your pick of a song will play OFTEN for the month and a bumper to say something like, "And now IMB Artist of the Month"
7. Review of 1 EP/CD of your choosing by Tom Wardman's Reviews
8. An email based interview at your leisure and time frame, published and promoted often.

GR’S Orange Amps Stage Debut at Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood on Hollywood Blvd.

HOLLYWOOD, CA – SEPTEMBER 18, 2012 – Southern Rock artist Glitter Rose has just been asked to join Orange Amplification as an Endorsed Artist!  Glitter is already endorsed with fine companies such as TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik, WARRIOR Guitar, Fishman Acoustic Amplification, BAE Audio, Rotosound Music Strings, Moody Leather, and Guitar Hands Hand Care.

ABOUT GLITTER ROSE - GR is a Texas Southern Rock artist, but currently resides in Hollywood, CA where she held a 5 month residency at the Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood Blvd for the event Southern Rock Brunch, released her latest album “Dead or Alive”, and is nominated for 2 Los Angeles Music Awards for Best Country Artist and Country Single with her song “Vodka Girls”. She is also up for Best Rock Artist in the 2013 Artists in Music Awards and will be performing at the event in February 2013.

12 yr-old Jax Beach Dalton Cyr Touring 6 States As He Releases First Full-Length CD

For Immediate Release: Jacksonville, FL—July 23, 2012 

Twelve year-old award-winning singer, songwriter Dalton Cyr from Jacksonville Beach kicks off a 6-state tour on August 2^nd to promote his debut album, “I’ll Be There” featuring 11 songs written and co-written by Cyr. Managed by Disney Channel Executive Producer Irene Dreayer and DW Management in L.A., Cyr frequently performs in the Jacksonville area and performs for Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital and the Beaches Fine Art Series’ fundraisers.   

After spending the last year focusing on songwriting and recording his new album, Cyr will release his CD and kick off his tour by performing a free concert in Neptune Beach, Florida at Lillie’s Coffee Bar in the Courtyard on August 2, 2012 at 7:00 pm.  A few days later, on August 7th he’ll perform in St. Louis, MO and then travel to Kentucky where he will join the Country Pop Rock Tour, which bands together six teen recording artists taking a stand against bullying.  Organized by tour promoter Lee Wilson, Cyr will join, Celeste Kellogg, Tyler Layne, Branden Mendoza, Tristan Blaine and Riley Roth for 15 shows, 4 red carpet events, radio, TV and other special appearances in Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will go to local school districts to fight bullying.

The title cut from Cyr’s new album, “I’ll Be There” was a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition, judged by the most high-profile judges in the world. The CD also includes “Whisper” which the video release dedicated to the troops coming home was embraced by fans worldwide in more than 26 countries and three songs which have already debuted in the number one position on 1Radio New Music Chart in the United Kingdom. Although the album won’t release until 2 weeks after his 12th birthday, Cyr finished writing his songs for the album in April and his recording sessions in June, completing his first full length album while still only 11 years old.

About Dalton Cyr:

 Singer, songwriter, musician, actor Dalton Cyr is 12 years old and has been performing solo around NE Florida since he was nine. Managed by Disney Channel Executive Producer Irene Dreayer and DW Management, he has released an EP with five original songs which appear in regular rotation on Internet radio. Cyr is the winner of several competitions including The Dray Kid Contest (Held by Disney Channel Executive Producer, Irene Dreayer),  Ritz Theatre’s “Amateur Night at the Ritz”, and is the state of Florida’s 2011 PTA Reflections music composition competition winner. An accomplished musician, Cyr plays guitar, ukulele, keyboard, and drums.  He’s also appeared in the play productions, “Willy Wonka”, “Aladdin” and “Shout, An Acappella Musical”. Dalton attends The LaVilla School of the Arts as a vocal major.

Get More Response From Your Facebook Pages

Facebook has gone to a pay to promote your Facebook Pages model but there is something you can do to allow your fans to see more of your posts. We have taken a screen shot of how it is to be done and you may share it on your pages. The hard part now is getting your fans to see the post. And for that you just have to keep it topped and engage the fans about it on your social media network. Here is the screen shot. Create a post that some how asks the fans a question as well so it will be engaging and that will help it spread on the fans time lines.
